Adaptive Adventures
Adaptive Adventures is an inclusive gym class designed to build teamwork, collaboration, and community through movement and play. Designed for all abilities, this fully adaptive class modifies equipment, and barriers. Each class offers new games from parachute games to giant board games, every student experiences safe, empowering, and active movement. Adaptive Adventure programs are currently available to School-age and Adult participants. More information on toddler and preschool classes in 2027.

Sample of Activities for Adaptive Adventures classes
Group warm-up: This or that movement Icebreaker.
Hoop Scrabble:In Hoop Scrabble, each team is assigned a hula hoop as their home base. Players race to collect lettered tennis balls scattered around the playing area and bring them back to their hoop. Teams use these letters to spell as many words as possible inside their hoop until all the letters are taken. Once a letter is used in a word, it cannot be reused—so choose your words wisely!
The Dice Game: Participants move around freely the in play area while the music is playing, when the music stops participants make their way to one of the six numbered zones. The Coach will roll a giant dice and whatever number lands face up is eliminated to the cheering dance floor. The last participant standing wins!
Grandma Says: A hilarious twist of the classic Simon Says with Grandma! Participants must keep their eyes on her every move, ensuring they aren’t frozen like a stone when she calls out the next action. Before you know it, the whole class will be following Grandma’s lead, creating laughter and fun as everyone.
Class cool down: A quick way for everyone to come together at the end of class and cool down.
